A perusal is a one-time purchase of an advance reading copy of a play script or musical libretto, provided solely for evaluation and educational use.
Perusal copies may be copied and shared for non-public educational purposes only, including classroom study, script analysis, auditions, casting preparation, and dramatic readings without an audience.
No performance rights are granted with the purchase of a perusal. This includes, but is not limited to, public performances, staged readings with an audience, ticketed events, or any advertised presentation.
To present a work publicly, you must submit a Performance Rights Application through The Licensing House website and receive written approval. Performance rights are not secured until officially granted.
By purchasing a perusal, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
